Back 40 Group, Incorporated operates as a vertically integrated holding company with several interrelated divisions: Back40Books.com, Back 40 Forums, Back 40 Internet Innovators, Pleasant Valley Productions Back 40 and Fluffy Cat Records. The Company’s vertical integration insures a wide profit margin. Here are short descriptions of our divisions and how they are related.

Back40Books.com ( www.Back40Books.com ) has been on the web since 2000. During that period of time we have gone from an ALEXA web popularity ranking of 4,700,000 out of 25,000,000 web sites in the world to our present ranking of 175,391 worldwide and 45,243 in the U.S. We classify our selves as a “Web 2.0" company due to our leading edge use of in-site video, jukebox music players, forums and RSS feeds to socially network with our customers. Buy purchasing in quantity and direct from publishers we are able to average a 100% markup on most of our products.

Back 40 Internet Innovators ( www.Back40InternetInnovators.com ) is our division that designs, implements and maintains all of our web sites. Since we are working at a first class level and are way ahead of most other web sites we have recently expanded our services to outside companies. We are authorized resellers for GoDaddy, the number one web hosting company in America. This enables us to purchase URL’s and web hosting service at wholesale and resell to our customers at a very competitive rate. Typically, when contacted by a prospective customer we will purchase a URL for them, design their web site and bill them for work performed. We then bill them on a monthly basis for hosting and sometimes a monthly maintenance fee as well. We also will help existing web sites integrate video, music, forums and RSS feeds.

Internet Radio Innovators is our division that operates internet station ( KWBC.FM ) With it’s unique format of traditional and vintage country music, western, bluegrass folk, roots , new artists and Americana our goal is to become the number one station playing our genre worldwide.

We plan on broadcasting from small concert venues and having remote studios in Nashville and Branson to do live interviews with stars appearing there. We plan other stations with other formats as well. Revenues will be generated via corporate sponsorships, advertising, sales of products from our own web stores and selling syndicated programming to other stations.

We are currently working on becoming one of the first stations to offer our listeners one-click downloads of MP3 files.

Pleasant Valley Productions ( www.PleasantValleyProductions.com )(site is under construction) is a full service division offering complete still, video and audio production services to the public as well as producing How-To DVD’s and downloadable videos. The division can storyboard, script, cast, produce, edit and manufacture completed discs for sale to retail chain stores and web stores. All video work is done in High-definition format. PVP also maintains a “stable” of spokespersons and produces short product presentations for use on web sites.

Back 40 Forums (www.Back40Forums.com) is a free site used to socially interact with our customers. Many postings contain links to products or services we offer. It is reachable through links on all of our sites or by using the direct URL. When a reader enters through our Book Store it adds to our traffic count and enables the visitor to easily reach recommended products. Again, the site is totally automated and costs less than $50.00 per month to operate. It is rapidly becoming our most popular site.

Fluffy Cat Records ( www.FluffyCatRecords.com ) is an independent label representing and promoting new artists from all over the world. We presently have music available in the genres of Country, Western, Bluegrass, Jazz, Folk, Fusion and Blues. Fluffy Cat provides instant music downloads and sells CD’s which are manufactured by the PVP division.

What all of this means is that we have products and services ready to go. We have a staff that loves to work here. We have a community that needs jobs, and we have local workers that want to work.
